From Kale Bittner (BFA06)  “Hey NY friends, Anyone looking for an Assistant gig? The CEO of Atari / My boss just moved to NY is looking for an Executive Assistant. This isn't a first job, but if you've worked in Film/TV before this job will be a cakewalk in comparison. Pay is good, and the people are great. It's a perfect job if you're trying to be a writer and keep a roof over your head at the same time. Or if you are just interested in video games in general. Message me if you're interested. kale.bittner@atari.com

From Stephen Griffin (MFA  10)  “Attention Sound Mixers, Composers, Photographers and Artists: Dave Spence (MFA '10) and I made a movie last summer called Roswell FM and we are currently in post-produciton. We are now looking to hire a Sound Mixer, Composer and Poster Artist. The film is an indie comedy about the only normal guy at a paranormal talk radio station who quits his dream profession and takes a higher paying, but soul crushing job in order to pay for his oddball nephew's college tuition. The film stars Brendan Fehr, Mirelly Taylor, Jason London, Don Stark, Brian Tee and Kevin Farley.  If you are interested in one of these positions, please email me directly at stephendgriffin@me.com. Please include a resume, applicable samples and/or anything else that you think might help our decision. Composers, we are looking for a lighthearted, quirky comedy score similar to About Schmidt, The Descendants, Juno and Little Miss Sunshine so please submit appropriate samples. Poster artists, it is preferable that you are a photographer, a savvy graphic artist, and live in the LA area. We are currently planning a photo shoot with the actors in LA, and we would like whoever we hire to take care of the whole thing.   Please check out our Facebook and IMDB pages for more info.”

“VisionTrip Media Company and Duel Pictures, announced today that they will be shooting a new television pilot beginning in June 2012. Salvatore Verini of Jerico Pictures and Mitch Dean of VisionTrip Media, have developed the supernatural themed Shadowglade for a June 2012 shoot. Ezra Peace of Duel Pictures will be directing. The show is currently in pre-production while location sites are being scouted. Areas around Fort Lauderdale and Sanford have been discussed because of their diversity of appearance and atmosphere. Principal photography is scheduled to begin on June 25, 2012. Casting was held at Full Sail in Orlando with the principal roles filled. Shadowglade will be using mostly local actors and crew for the production. The premise of Shadowglade follows the ordeals of two police detectives, both supernatural beings themselves, as they investigate the paranormal and non- paranormal crimes presented to them, while dealing with their own hidden, and often quirky, existences.”
